About the Author
Barry Levine, Ph.D., is Chief Toxicologist, Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, State of Maryland, and a Forensic Toxicologist, Armed Forces Medical Examiner. He is also Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Pathology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Levine is a diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Toxicology and the American Board of Clinical Chemistry - Toxicological Chemistry.

This text is informative, as it should be. But I actually found it to also be engaging and interesting. I've also found it helpful in my research as a reference on things like protein precipitation and sample prep.

I am a forensic chemist. This book is excellent for teaching to attorneys. I own the three editions. I am waiting the fourth. I hope It will have pesticides and poisons chapters.
