This story has well developed characters and a believable plot. The attraction builds until you are screaming for them to do it. The stress syndrome is well handled. This is one to enjoy.

About the Author
Leon Chaitow ND DO is an internationally known and respected osteopathic and naturopathic practitioner and teacher of soft tissue manipulation methods of treatment. He is author of over 60 books, including a series on Advanced Soft Tissue Manipulation (Muscle Energy Techniques, Positional Release Techniques, Modern Neuromuscular Techniques) and also Palpation Skills; Cranial
Manipulation: Theory and Practice; Fibromyalgia Syndrome: A Practitioner’s Guide to Treatment, and many more. He is editor of the peer reviewed Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies, that offers a multidisciplinary perspective on physical methods of patient care. A Fun Read

This is the sequel to "Two Nights in Vegas" and I must admit I was impressed. The book is short, but it wrapped up all the loose ends from the previous books and answered all questions. Marc and Nadine are a great couple and I would love to read more about them. I have read this book more than once, it is that good.

This was a great follow up to two nights in Vegas. Nadine and Marc are breath of fresh air and the truth about how wonderful it is to finally find the missing piece of your heart and embrace it fully. I laughed when she got to Alaska because I knew it was going to be a mess with humor and true love. I can't wait to read more from Ms. Gaines.

I must say I didn't read the first book of this series but found out all I needed to make this work in the first chapter. I will go back and purchase the first later.

This book was good and very funny to me. I must say that I re-read the chapter where she went to Alaska 3 times and put it in my favorites to read again. If you read no other parts of the book you should read that part. I laughed so hard, couldn't believe what I was reading, and read it again. Toooooo funny!

Although the Decameron and the Canterbury Tales have often been linked, this is the first ever major study of the two most popular medieval collections of framed narratives to examine the texts as a whole. The present study goes well beyond shared general similarities and the inconclusive search for source or analogue material in order to look at the internal dynamics of each text and the surprising similarities that emerge there in terms of theories of literature, authority and authorship and the particular reader response envisaged by their authors. The two collections are examined in the light of their literary diversity, their shape as a form of quodlibet debate, their discussion of literature and its autonomy, using the oppositions of utile-diletto and 'sentence'-'solaas', and in the specific way that individual narratives are treated so as to create a labyrinthine web for the reader both to negotiate and to enjoy. This is the fullest attempt yet to demonstrate the weight of evidence linking Chaucer's work to the Decameron and to disprove the stance, take early this century, that Chaucer was not directly indebted to it.

I'll keep this simple:
I have never desired to DO art myself before encountering this book. It simplified so many forms of art by boiling down to its fundamental components, clean and concise. Now I love art and feel no intimidation when approaching forms of art new to me. I've even won some local awards for photography and prints I've done using the guidance of this book and this book only. 100% beginner to awards. I don't know what more I could say. LOVE IT!

Art Class textbook review

The book is for my college class, so that is what caused me to choose this particular one. I enjoy the many photos and explanations of the art, which go into fairly good detail in an easy to understand format. It is very easy to find topics or artists in the index and the dictionary is full of great definitions that come in handy for tests and class discussions. I like this book enough to keep it in my personal library even after the class is over.

Later chapters highlight spectral techniques and RCWA as applied to the analysis of dynamic wave-mixing in PR materials with induced transmission and reflection gratings and demonstrate the RCWA algorithm to analyze cylindrical and spherical systems using circular, bipolar cylindrical, and spherical coordinates. The book concludes with several RCWA computational case studies involving scattering from spatially inhomogeneous eccentric circular cylinders, solved in bipolar coordinates. Many of these examples apply the complex Poynting theorem or the forwardscattering (optical) theorem to validate numerical solutions by verifying power conservation.

It's 100% necessary

This is a tremendously useful set of briefs. I have the Casenotes version in addition to this one, and this copy blows Casenotes' out of the water. The legal analysis is sometimes too candid and often doesn't pull nearly enough information from the notes in the textbook, but the "holding and decision" section of each case is immeasurably more instructive than what Casenotes provides. This thing is absolutely indispensable.

Warning! This is NOT a "hardcover spiral". The word "hardcover" should not even be in the name.

The contents of this brief book are good. They adequately summarize the cases. But a lot of times they quote directly from the case. Sometimes entire paragraphs or sections. That wouldn't be too much of a problem except for the fact that sometimes certain key words are used that makes reading the case itself a necessity. If I wanted to read the case book myself I wouldn't buy a brief book.

It's also riddled with spelling errors.

His publications include the book-length studies Brecht und Shakespeare and The Nazi Appropriation of Shakespeare, plus many edited volumes of essays, and numerous articles on Thomas Mann, Bertolt Brecht, and Heimito von Doderer. For 12 years he was Editor of Seminar: A Journal of Germanic Studies.

Perfect Accompaniment to Mann's Great Novel

There are two main categories of readers' "companions." The first is comprised of collections of essays. The second is a compendium of notes to the text itself. Symington's book is one of the latter. It begins with a brief discussion of many of the themes of "The Magic Mountain" but the bulk of the book is a chapter-by-chapter--actually, line by line, as the notes are printed page by page, with both the page and line identified--series of notes. The notes may explain terms unfamiliar to the reader or the importance of a certain phrase to a particular character or one that may be repeated throughout the book. Sometimes they explain history and sometimes they explain puns or classical allusions that would not be familiar to those not familiar with German history and literature in German (like the English speaking readers of this book!). The book is simply superb and greatly enhanced my understanding of this difficult book. I prefer not to read essays because they tend to tell me what the book means and I cannot get those thoughts out of my head while I read; I prefer to read a book without those prejudices though, truth be told, there are some interpretations floating about in the notes presented. I cannot recommend this book highly enough for those looking for this kind of reference. The book is new (published 2011), hardcover only, and expensive. I balked at buying it but figured I'd try it since I could return it if it didn't meet my needs. I am SO glad I took that step. I cannot say if the book will be printed in cheaper paperback form. But if reading and understanding The Magic Mountain is important to you I highly recommend this Readers' Guide. Have fun.
