About the Author
Dr. Frierman is a sport and exercise psychologist and associate professor at Hofstra University. He has developed and taught a variety of health-related fitness and wellness courses courses including Fit for Life, Physical Conditioning, Programming Fitness Activities, Weight Training, Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology and Stress Management. He received his B.S. from Brooklyn College, his M.S. from North Texas State University and his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has published and presented across the United States introducing individuals to the barriers that stop them from being more physically active.

Must-have fitness literature

Excellent read, really helped get me out of the exercise slump that I was facing. Buy this book if you want to actually learn real fitness knowledge and not all the garbage that is available on online forums and blogs.
